About Us
Care2Share is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1999 and made up of overseas Vietnamese-American volunteers. We are headquartered in Cincinnati, OH. Our mission is to bring poverty relief to forgotten Vietnamese people in remote villages and ethnic communities in Vietnam & Cambodia.
The Need
There are forgotten Vietnamese people in rural, isolated areas of Vietnam and Cambodia living in extreme poverty today. They are forbidden from foreign visitors, exempt from social support and safety nets due to their ethnic minority status, and ignored by their countrymen. They live without access to clean water, education, medical care, safe homes, and economic opportunities.
Many have given up hope that help will come.
We’re on a mission to reach them.
The Response
Every year, our team (all from the USA) pays out of pocket to make a Mission Trip to Vietnam & Cambodia, which includes a medical & dental clinic. Once there, we work with in-country, local managers to select, grant, and execute projects. We also follow-up with projects from previous years. The key to our success is that we work with communities, not for them, enabling the locals to continue our work without our presence for generations to come.
